A lot of people ask the question “what is Americana Roots Music?”
People have trouble with that one. Is it Johnny Cash, Dwight
Yoakam, Steve Earle, Chip and Carrie, Hayes Carll? Well it’s all
of that... and when you can roll it all into a big party joint and
smoke it up you get Mitch Webb and The Swindles. I’m sure this
might be as fun as music gets. This is why people get into the
music business or at least it’s why they should. The San Antonio
quartet rambles through a raucus history of why Texas is the only
state that has it’s own genre. Hardly a spot in the Lone Star state
that hasn’t spawned at least one music hero and San Antonio has
added their own. Now it’s time to get the fuck out of the way!...
Mitch Webb and The Swindles are here and it’s gonna get loud!
