We couldn't get any of the big magazines to deal with indie artists yet we were dealing with artists who were making incredible music and had a lot to say...the answer? Make our own magazine and give the most experimental and important indie artists a forum to expose their music and voice their opinions. Songs With Vision is the Film and Television Music Placement arm of the Co-Op. Danny McCloskey heads SWV bringing over 30 years experience in the Recorded Music Industry to the table for his clients. He uses established relationships with music supervisors from a host of networks and film companies in Southern California and throughout the US. In addition to Film and Television Placement, Danny also handles publishing both in the US and abroad, writes for the Media Guide and does extensive Internet research finding new and creative places to expose independent music. SWV is a valuable asset to the Co-Op.

While still in it's developmental stage, Roots Music Online Television is an exciting new addition to the Co-Op family. There isn't a video channel online that is dedicated solely to Roots Music...folk, blues, Americana, Alt-Country, Roots jazz, etc. so naturally we decided to build one. It's kinda like a History Channel for Roots Music. We'll feature the industry that moves this music with interviews and special features. Naturally we'll scour the globe to find the best content videos from the wide variety of genres that make up this format. Look for special programs like the Raul Malo Special and backstage interviews like Rodney Crowell from the Town Hall Theater in NYC.
